Prior to founding Rigney Law, I was a Deputy Prosecuting Attorney for nearly 12 years, handling all types and levels of criminal offenses. My primary focus was drug offenses, practicing in the Major Felony Drug Courts for 8 years. During this time, I trained both attorneys and police department personnel on the handling of drug crime cases and investigations, including the writing and lawful execution of narcotics and firearm-targeted search warrants. I concluded her tenure at the MCPO handling civil litigation in the Civil Asset Forfeiture Division.
