Course Overview
Over the last 30 years, technology has greatly impacted the practice of law, this CLE will review ethical considerations for all attorneys to keep in mind. This session will discuss: – The history of attorney marketing – Ethical restrictions and landmark Cases – The “seedy” side of marketing (Ambulance Chasers and Interpreters) – Pay for Lead programs – Avvo Legal Services
The seminar will also discuss various advertising mediums, Television, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc., and the Rhode Island requirements for ethical marketing, and tips on how to avoid the pitfalls using current guidelines and discussion from the ABA.
