Jerry W. Tidwell is the managing partner of Tidwell Law Firm, PLLC who focuses on cases involving criminal defense to include assault, domestic violence, drug crimes, DWIs, sexual assault, and probation violation. Mr. Tidwell also focuses on family law including divorce as well as child custody and child support cases.

Jerry Tidwell has 14+ years of courtroom, trial, and consulting experience in entrepreneurial, small office, and government work environments. His multi-discipline practice in criminal defense and prosecution, family law, and environmental regulatory consulting (non-legal) provides him with a diverse and robust background that aids him in all his cases.

Along with experience working at his own firm, Jerry has worked at the Collin County District Attorney’s office, where he was responsible for investigation and prosecution of atypical criminal offenses. Because of this experience, Jerry has extensive trial, jury selection, and investigation experience.

Now a defense attorney, Jerry’s experience in the District Attorney’s office gives him the upper-hand when defending his clients’ rights.

Jerry graduated from Texas Tech University with a Bachelor of General Studies, and years later graduated cum laude from the Texas Tech University School of Law.

Jerry is admitted in the courts of Colorado, Texas, U.S. District Court Eastern Texas, U.S. District Court Western District Texas, and the State Bar of Texas in the Criminal Justice and Family Law sections.
