William E. Weiss has devoted his career to successfully representing plaintiffs in personal injury cases. Over the past 30 years William has handled thousands of cases involving nearly every facet of personal injury litigation, including motorcycle and bicycle accidents; automobile, bus and truck accidents; recreational boating accidents and slip and falls. William has particular expertise in cases involving serious fractures, joint injuries requiring surgery, traumatic brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, burn injuries and cases involving significant head and facial trauma.
William has access to special sources of information on orthopedic and neurological injuries, has represented prominent physicians in these specialties and has served as a board member of a non-profit orthopedic research organization. William graduated from the University of Cincinnati with a B.A. in Political Science, Magna Cum Laude, Phi Beta Kappa in 1973. He subsequently attended the University of San Diego School of Law and graduated in 1976. He was admitted to the California State Bar on December 22, 1976. William is admitted to practice before the Northern, Eastern, Central and Southern Districts of the Federal Court in California as well as the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. He is also admitted to practice before the following Federal District Courts: Southern District of New York, Western District of Washington, and Alaska. William has tried hundreds of matters in venues ranging from small towns in California to the Federal Court in New York City.
Williamâ€™s professional affiliations include membership in the American Association for Justice (formerly the Association of Trial Lawyers of America), and past membership in the Consumer Attorneys of California and the San Francisco Trial Lawyers Association.
