Attorney Allison Gaffen focuses her practice in the areas of family law and criminal defense. Ms. Gaffen's family law practice includes representing clients in divorce, custody, and support proceedings. She also represents clients in DUI, underage drinking, drug cases, and domestic violence cases in criminal court.
Ms. Gaffen is admitted to practice law before the state courts in Pennsylvania and the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania. She is a member of the Allegheny County Bar Association (ACBA), the ACBA Family Law Section, the ACBA Women in the Law Division, and the ACBA Criminal Law Section.
Ms. Gaffen received her Juris Doctor from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law, where she graduated cum laude. She was a topics editor on the University of Pittsburgh Journal of Environmental and Public Health Law. While at Pitt Law, Ms. Gaffen participated in the Murray S. Love Mock Trial Competition. She was also awarded the John P. Gismondi Civil Litigation Certificate from Pitt Law. At Pitt Law, Allison was a member of Phi Alpha Delta, Law Fraternity International.
Ms. Gaffen obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree from Grove City College, where she majored in Psychology and Political Science and minored in Family Studies.
